Syria – Water ports, bridges and roads rehabilitated in Deir Al-Zour’s countryside

The municipality of Muhaimidah has renovated the waterways and water ports in Deir Al-Zour’s western countryside as part of the municipality’s precautionary measures to avert any floods caused by the heavy rains, which filled the waterways with rainwater. Mohammed Al-Obeid, the Co-chair of the municipality of Muhaimidah, pointed out that the municipality is working to reconstruct and renovate the collapsed parts of the bridges and roads, to make it easier for the citizens to move around the town.
