Yemen – Government forces continue to open roads in Hudaydah

Hudaydah Governorate – Yemen 06/02/2019

Houthis have attempted to hinder the movement of Yemeni government forces in Hudaydah in western Yemen by digging trenches and laying mines along the roads. However, the Yemeni forces backed by the International Coalition continue to open roads, sweep them and remove mines and explosives in regions under the control of Houthis in Hudaydah. That is with the faltering efforts of the UN Redeployment Coordination Committee in the city.
