Iraq – Launching the first International Painting Symposium for Fine Arts in Erbil

The first International Painting Symposium for Visual Arts was launched in Erbil in Kurdistan Region under the slogan of “Art for peace”. There were Arabic and international participants, the activities included painting in front of the audience artwork that depicts the meaning of peace, coexistence and brotherhood. Some paintings also depicted the process of the country’s revival after being liberated from terrorism and returning to normal again. The Art Festival included organizing artistic seminars to discuss matters related to Visual Arts and the exchanging of expertise among artists.
