Jordan – Hundreds of citizens protest against government economic policy
Amman – Jordan 01/12/2018
Hundreds of Jordanian citizens held a sit-in near the Fourth roundabout in the Jordanian capital Amman on Friday to protest against government economic policies. The protesters called for the abolition of the tax law; they also condemned the policy of Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz that is based on collecting as much taxes as possible from people pockets. The sit-in came a few days after Parliament approved the draft amended income tax law, which widened the sectors subject to income tax.
