Yemen – Aden revolts in solidarity with the prisoners and detainees in the Houthi prisons

A human rights event was organized in Aden by the Union of Civil Society Organization with the support of the Yemeni Economic Foundation to demand freedom for all prisoners and detainees in Al-Houthi prisons. During the event, titled “Free Despite the Chains”, Civil society organizations called on the United Nations to oblige the Houthis to put into effect the UN resolution 2216, which provides for the release of war prisoners, hostages, abductees, and those forcibly held hostage in their prisons.
