Mosul-Iraq 26/10/2018
The Nineveh Physical Rehabilitation Center, which was recently inaugurated in Mosul by the Ministry of Health and Environment in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), started receiving the city’s war wounded who lost their limbs during the liberation battles against ISIS. Those in charge of the center, which is the first of its kind in Mosul, said that they are providing artificial limbs and physical rehabilitation to about 4,000 amputees in Nineveh, pointing out that this center reduces the travel burdens and costs for the injured who need to get treatment abroad.
