Yemen – Shabwa celebrates a mass wedding for 200 couples

The city of Ataq in Shabwa province celebrated the first mass wedding of 200 couples, with the support and funding of the UAE Red Crescent Authority, in order to alleviate the suffering of young people due to the high cost of marriage and provide them with social and psychological stability. The ceremony was attended by a number of Yemeni officials and a delegation from the Red Crescent, who oversaw the marriage ceremony and arrangements, amid the attendance of a large group of residents of the province.
