Syria – Mass demonstrations in Idlib demanding the release of detainees

Under the slogan “Freedom for the detainees”, hundreds of people of the city of Idlib and its countryside marched out after Friday prayers to demand the release of detainees in the prisons of the Syrian regime and to overthrow the regime. The participants raised flags of the Syrian revolution and signs demanding the freedom of detainees, and chanted slogans confirming their adherence to the principles of the revolution, and slogans against the regime of Assad, Russians and Iranians. The demonstrations were not limited to the city of Idlib and its countryside, but expanded to the villages and cities of the northern countryside of Aleppo, as well as the villages of Hama.
