Iraq – Joint training workshop between the security forces and journalists

In coordination with UNESCO, the House of Representatives, the German KAS and the Ministry of Police Affairs, the Burj Babel Media Development Foundation in Baghdad organized a training workshop for women in the security forces with the participation of 23 female officers and a number of field journalists. A number of media figures reported that the course aims to strengthen the relationship between the security forces and journalists, as well as regulating the relationship between them and focusing on freedom of expression and maintaining order and reducing the tension between the security forces and media.
