Iraq – “House of Art” opened in Dumiz Syrian refugee camp in Duhok governorate

Dumiz Syrian refugee camp – Duhok – Kurdistan Region – Iraq 21/6/2018

As part of the World Refugee Day, with the support of the French Consulate in the Kurdistan Region, “House of Art” opened in Dumiz Syrian refugee camp in Duhok governorate, which includes several artistic sections such as music, drawing, acting and theater to teach various arts, in order to contain the capacit of technical and creative development and discover the talents of art to the refugees. A number of officials, including the governor of Dohuk, Farhad Alatroushi and Dominic Mass, the consul general of France in the region, the refugees and talented art lovers appreciated this important step which will embrace talented people and develop their talents.
