Iraq – Weak purchasing traffic during the first week of Ramadan

Shop owners in Al-Shorja market in the center of the Iraqi capital Baghdad complain of the decline in the purchasing and selling traffic during the first week of Ramadan, unlike the days before the holy month, and some shop owners attributed the low demand in the markets to the fraught electoral atmosphere, in addition to the economic conditions experienced by citizens.
