Iraq – President of Diyala Provincial Council: Electricity interruption threatens the electoral process

The head of the Diyala provincial council, Ali Al-Daini, stated that the frequent interruption of electricity from the province by Iran, the main supplier of electricity to the cities of the province, is causing severe harm to the people in various aspects of life and may negatively affect the conduct of the impending election process, adding that it is time to stop the import of electricity from Iran.
