Fallujah – Anbar – Iraq 13/5/2018
The people of Anbar province in western Iraq started to head to polling stations since early morning to cast their votes in the parliamentary elections of 2018, amid high security measures and a curfew on vehicles in the city of Fallujah in order to secure them from “terrorist” operations. The elections did not witness any violations in the polling stations in Fallujah, while some equipment were damaged at a number of centers, as well as the start of the voting process at 8 am with a delay of one hour. 352 candidates in 18 political entities are competing for 15 seats allocated to Anbar province.
