Iraq – Iraqi football legends play in Mosul to revive the sport in the city

Mosul – Iraq 6/5/2018

A friendly football match was held with all Iraqi football legends on the playground of the University of Mosul and in the presence of a large crowd which ended with the victory of the legends of Iraqi football with two goals to none. The match was organized within the campaign to restore life to the city of Mosul and support the sports field after three years of depriving the athletes in the city feom various sports and wiping their identities following the control ISIS organization on Mosul. The aim of the games is to attract the attention of the responsible authorities around the world to Mosul and support the restoration of life and infrastructure reconstruction.
