Iraq – Various artistic performances in the 4th edition of Baghdad’s Tarkib festival

Baghdad’s Tarkib Festival for contemporary art kicked off in its fourth edition, being the first festival of its kind in Iraq in terms of multiple artistic specialties, including a group exhibition dedicated to the new “installation” and “concept” works. The festival was attended by fifteen Iraqi artists. The festival is focused on works that form limits between arts and everyday life, exploring new interactive social and cultural spaces in different fields. The displayed works are characterized by critical thinking and a future orientated perspective.
