Iraq – First Easter Mass in Qarqosh of Nineveh Plain after liberation from ISIS

Qarqosh town “Bakhdida” – Nineveh province – Iraq 2/4/2018

The Christians of the town of Qarqosh of Nineveh Plains celebrated easter in the Grand Tahira Church for the first time after the liberation of their areas from the control of ISIS Organization. The church is considered as one of the oldest and largest churches in the Nineveh Plain. The worshipers raised their calls on Easter to ensure security and stability in their areas and the country in general.
