The Yemeni army was able to control the area of Al-Markham and Mount Shivan in Lahij, after fierce battles with the Houthis in these areas. The army is continuing operations in the areas of Kirsh and Shriga which put them a few steps away from the city of Ar Rahidah, a strategic location in Taiz.
