Iraq – Distribution of more than 30% of the ballot cards

With the approach of the parliamentary elections in Iraq, the Electoral Commission has made a significant strides in accordance with the time schedule. The technical procedures and the approval of the policy table have been terminated by the Council of the Commission and the distribution of about 3 million ballot cards representing more than 30% of registered voters during a period of approximately a month. At the same time, the Iraqi voter’s tendencies toward the elections are divided as an unstable team appears to be in position because of statements by some party officials, while others have called for change through ballot boxes to improve public services in the country.
