Iraq – Iraqi forces security operations to cleanse Tuz Khurmatu in Salahaddin province

Eastern Tuz Khurmatu – Salahaddin – Iraq 2018/2/8 

Iraqi forces carried out a large-scale security operation on Wednesday to hunt down armed groups called “White Flags” and remaining members of ISIS organization in the areas between the borders of the governorates of Salahaddin and Kirkuk to cleanse and secure these areas and eliminate the remaining sleeping cells. The forces took control of eastern areas of Tuz Khurmatu district after the dismantling of about 75 explosive devices in 8 villages of Salahaddin province.
