The Director of the Health Bureau in Taiz confirmed that the city is facing a humanitarian disaster due to the noticeable increase in diseases caused by malnutrition among citizens, especially children. The incidence of malnutrition and the spread of diseases and epidemics caused by water pollution and the acute shortage of food and health services due to the siege and the ongoing war in Yemen.
