Iraq – MPs need authorities cooperation to fight against corruption

Iraqi MPs stressed that the fight against corruption is the duty of all Iraqis, whether financial or administrative corruption, pointing out that the corrupt should be held within the framework of law and legislation in Iraq with efforts by the legislative authority and civil society organizations, in addition to the role of the media and citizens in the fight against Corruption, this came with the announcement of Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, recently that the upcoming phase is “the stage of fighting corruption.”
