Jordan – sit-ins continue in front of the US Embassy in Amman

Protests are continuing in front of the US Embassy in Jordan for the eighth day in a row, where dozens of citizens gathered at the invitation of the Islamic Movement and popular and youth activities to protest against US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and transfer his country’s embassy to it. Participants raised Palestinian and Jordanian flags and banner reading “Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine,” “You will regret it, Trump,” as they chanted slogans in support of Al-Aqsa.
