Christians join the fight against Isis in northern Iraq
A group of Christians from Nineveh province joined the Peshmerga forces to fight for their land against ISIS organization which controls most of the Christian areas in Mosul.
Many Christians are fighting along with the Peshmerga forces in Nineveh plains and nearby regions against ISIS organization. They have received the necessary training for months with small and medium weapons from Peshmerga forces to protect their country and families and stand against the terrorist groups.
More than 600 Christian joined the Kurdish Peshmerga in Iraq and 285 were distributed in the first front lines in Tesqopa and the rest are still under the training process.
