Flowers and plants bring joy and hope to the people’s heart, and the spread of flower and green plants nurseries in Baghdad indicates the Baghdadis’ care of their internal and external gardens, including growing known plants in Iraq, in addition to importing many new species to enrich the vegetative diversity in ornamental plants. Most of the nurseries are private except for a number of territories of the Municipality of Baghdad, which in turn encourages the expansion of green spaces and gardens.
