Iraq – Martyrdom anniversary of Al-Hussein in Baghdad

As the 40th martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein approaches, the atmosphere in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad has begun to take on a distinctive character  as visitors march on foot raising flags and heading to Karbala, 100 km south of Baghdad. As this is a painful memory for Muslims in general and for Jaafari religion in particular.
