Iraq: Displaced people’s aid decline due to the termination of flights to Kurdistan Region.

For more than a month, displaced persons camps in Duhok governorate have witnessed a decline in the amount of international humanitarian assistance and aid coming from outside Iraq to the Kurdistan region due to the Iraqi government’s suspension of foreign flights to Sulaymaniyah airport in the province. In addition to the measures imposed by the Iraqi government on the territory following the referendum on the independence of the Kurdistan region.
