Yemen – UN delegation meets officials to learn about human rights situation

A high-level UN delegation met in Yemen’s capital Aden with the Yemeni Minister of Health, a representative of the Prime Minister and a number of officials. The delegation explained the Human Rights Council’s decision to establish a committee of international experts in Yemen and violations of the civilian population in all regions. The delegation listened to the reality of the Yemeni crisis and the problems facing the government in terms of salaries and humanitarian conditions and the fight against diseases, especially cholera
