Iraq – Funeral of the artist Fadel Khalil

The funeral of the playwright Fadhil Khalil, one of the most important figures of theatrical work in Iraq during the past five decades, was launched on Monday morning in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad. The funeral took place from the National Theater in central Baghdad to his final resting place in the presence of the Chairman of the Culture and Media Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Taher al-Hamoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities and a large number of students of the late Iraqi artists
