Yemen – A widow learns sewing to support her family in Taiz.

Khadija Mohammed, a mother of six who lives in the city of Taiz in southern Yemen, found herself and her children without a breadwinner. The family lived in poor humanitarian and living conditions after her husband died in the war and she did not dare to take a step outside her home. She was depressed until she was able to learn sewing and marketing in Moaz Development Foundation, which brought her from the state of grief and inability to succeed, and made her more confident and able to support her children. She began to sew from her house and advertise her products in the market.
