Security experts confirmed that the Iraqi security forces, represented by the anti-terrorism apparatus, the federal police and units of the Iraqi army, were able to complete two important stages and achieve their full objectives. The forces succeeded in controlling five villages (Al Naml, Khalaf Al Ali, Khanooka mountains, Khalaf Al Hameed and Zouaiya), while the Federal Police and Popular mobilization forces took control of 63 villages, casuing ISIS heavy losses of lives and equipment.
