Iraq – Iraqi Kurdistan Parliament approves referendum date

Erbil City Center – Kurdistan – Iraq   2017/9/17 

The Parliament of Kurdistan of Iraq approved in its meeting yesterday to hold a referendum on the independence of the Territory by its scheduled date on September 25, after suspending its meetings for two years because of political problems. The meeting was attended by all the parliamentary blocs represented in Parliament except for the Movement of Change and the Islamic Group .
