Iraq – New Liberation Bridge opens in central Mosul

The Directorate of Military Engineering opened the first steel bridge in collaboration with the Municipality of Mosul and called it the Liberation Bridge, which links the two sides of eastern and western Mosul in the center of Mosul. The opening of the bridge was attended by military and civilian officials. The bridge will be multi-purpose for military or civilian purposes and it will contribute to alleviate the congestion witnessed by the city especially after the return of security and stability to its areas, it will also facilitate the process of commercial transport and transit between the two sides of the city, which is the most important step to return life to the west side of Mosul.
