Iraq – Iraqi forces advance in Western Tal Afar

Tal Afar – Baghdad – Iraq 23/8/2017

Iraqi forces along with the People’s Mobilization Forces, stationed in Tal Al Hesan, swept the west area of Tal Afar. They approached ISIS defenses in the residential areas while the field artillery destroyed a storehouse for weapons and ammunition in Al-Kifah area, west Tal Afar. Federal police forces cleared Wadi al-Abra and regained control of Mulla Jassim and Abret Aziz.
