Iraq – Federal Police forces control the southern part of the Old City.

Right Side of Mosul-Mosul 4/7/2017

The federal police forces represented by the elite and the 5th and 3rd divisions were able to take full control of the southern part of the Old City on the right side of Mosul. The forces were able to break the front line and drive deep into the city while fighting continued between the forces and ISIS members towards Al-Maydan area and the iron bridge near The Tigris River, the Iraqi forces also continue to clear all areas within the Old City.
