After Iraqi forces took control of Al-Nuri mosque and Al-Hadba’a Minaret, which was destroyed by ISIS organization, they continued their advancement from several axes to control the rest of the old city’s narrow alleys which put the forces close to the Tigris River that Passes through the center of Mosul. Iraqi forces are pursuing different ways of advancement in order to preserve the safety of the people trapped in the city and ensure their protection.
