Iraq – “Muhaibis” a legacy game among Iraqis in Ramadan.

Al-Muhaibis is a popular folkloric game, a basic game of the holy month of Ramadan for the Iraqis. It dates back to the time of the Abbasids, where they played it in the kings’ guesthouses and then moved to the tribal guesthouses and then to the Iraqi provinces. The game consists of two teams, looking for a ring amid sounds of encouragement and joy.
