Yemen – Aden Central Bank staff on a strike

The central bank staff in the interim capital of Aden carried out a full-scale strike on Wednesday and Thursday to protest against the practices of the acting central bank governor and his office manager. Protesters accused the acting central bank governor and his office manager of illegal activities, which pissed off the employees who decided to strike until the departure of the Acting Governor of the Bank and the Director of his office.
