As the FIFA World Cup 2022 kicks off in Qatar, cafes of the Jordan’s capital, Amman, were crowded with football fans who came to watch the opening ceremony of the World Cup and the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador at Al Bayt Stadium, which is located 40 km north of the Qatari capital, Doha.
Football fans expressed their happiness at this World Cup, praising the State of Qatar for its wonderful and huge organization of this event.
The World Cup 2022 kicked off today, Sunday, in Qatar, and will continue until December 18, with the participation of 32 teams. Eight world-class stadiums will host matches for the occasion, which only comes about once every four years.
Participating teams in the World Cup were divided into 8 groups, with 4 teams in each group, from different continents of the world.
