Iraq- The United Nations supports the fight against sexual violence during armed conflicts

The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Zainab Bangura held a meeting on Sexual Violence cases during conflicts in Iraq. The meeting was held with the Kurdistan Regional Government, during her visit Iraq, so as to enable women who have suffered sexual violence at the hands of Daesh elements to re-integrate themselves into society.
