Storyline

Activists in Taiz Governorate said that despite the truce between the Houthi group and the Yemeni government forces, the group continues to snipe civilians, as the young man Ahmed Jamil was sniped in the Asaifra neighborhood, Taiz, by a Houthi sniper.

They added that the truce announced by the UN envoy in Yemen is not implemented with the continuation of sniping and targeting of civilians in all governorates of Yemen.

The terms of the truce include a cease-fire that is supposed to last for two months, as well as allowing commercial flights from Sanaa International Airport, which has been open only for aid flights since 2016.
