Kurdistan Green Organization commemorated World Environment Day at Hawari Shar Park in Sulaimaniyah with the attendance of city officials and environmental activists. The event involved the release of 1000 birds under supervision of the Green Organization in order to promote environmental and animal protection. The event also included a play to raise children’s awareness and encourage them to care about the environment and animals.
