King of Jordan Abdullah II stressed in his meeting with the Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Wednesday the need to work together for peace in order to spare Palestinians and Israelis more suffering, as well as enable the region to realize its full potential. King Abdullah II stated during the meeting that took place at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman that this conflict has been going on for too long as the resulting violence has brought great suffering and caused the region to become infested with extremism. King Abdullah II expressed Jordan’s condemnation for violence of all kinds as it leads to the loss of more innocent lives referring to the attacks that targeted civilians from both sides including the one launched yesterday. Israeli President Isaac Herzong confirmed collaboration for the purpose of achieving peace and prosperity for all in the region including Palestinians. He stated that people of both sides share the same values for peace and prosperity in accordance with the peace treaty, which is why they should move ahead together.
