Storyline:

A joint military force of fighters affiliated with the Special Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces “SDF” and American soldiers broke into a house in Al-Aghaat Street in Ghweran neighborhood near to Al-Sina’a prison, to continue its operations after regaining control of Ghweran prison in Hasakah.

ISIS elements who escaped from prison tried to hide in it. Violent clashes erupted between the two parties, which lasted for more than 4 hours, in which various types of machine guns and RPGs were used, especially with the organization’s refusal to surrender to the forces, and fortified them in the house.

Fighters who participated in the operation reported that four ISIS members barricaded themselves inside the house and refused to surrender, which necessitated the intervention of the joint force, to arrest them. This operation coincides with the continuation of the search for ISIS fugitives, who went into hiding in the neighborhoods around Al-Sina’a prison in Al-Hasakah, such as Al-Nashwa, Ghweran, and Al-Zohour neighborhoods.
