Syria- Amid Soaring Prices of Treatment in Private Hospitals, A New Free Clinic was Launched
As numerous health facilities were demolished in the grueling war, the city council in Ar Raqqah launched a clinic in the Al-Kurd neighborhood. The poverty-stricken community in Ar Raqqah, who can’t afford to pay treatment expenses, was pleased with the new clinic that offers free treatment. It is worth mentioning that the bulk of the patients are women and kids who are enduring poor living conditions with no breadwinner or any job opportunities
