Iraq – ‘Under the Bridge’ market for the sale of animals from Sulaymaniyah oldest markets

The animals market is one of the oldest markets in Sulaymaniyah, dating back to 70 years, and is known in Kurdish “Zir Bardaka”, which means market under the bridge. On Fridays, people from different Iraqi governorates gather to sell all kinds of animals, including birds, rabbits, goats, and other animals.
