Hundreds protested in Taiz city, southern Yemen, demanding the provision of basic services, especially water, electricity and gas, and to hold the corrupt in the province accountable and submitting their files of corruption to the Public Prosecution. Roaming the streets of Taiz, protesters were cheering and calling on the government to take their suffering into consideration, in a time that the city has been besieged for years, and is witnessing deterioration in living conditions, while the cost of living recorded the highest numbers in the history of the country. The protesters demanded the President of the republic to hold the governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan accountable, who has been absent from the governorate since taking office three years ago, and who has never provided any services during these years, as the city goes into a security chaos, and a series of continuous assassinations.
