U.S.A looking into enhancing military cooperation in the fight against ISIS in Erbil

US Secretary of Defense “Ashton Carter” arrived to Erbil, capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan region to discuss the war against ISIS with Kurdish leaders.

US Secretary of Defense “Ashton Carter” arrived to Erbil, capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan region to discuss the war against ISIS with Kurdish leaders.

Carter met with region president Masoud Barzani where the discussion between the two parties regarding the role of the region and the Peshmerga in the war against ISIS.

Carter visit to Erbil comes after a visit to Baghdad earlier where he met the Prime minister “Hayder Alibadi” and discussed the subject of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in the field of arming and training.
