Iraq – Protests in Kurdistan cities due to high prices

The rise in fuel and flour prices sparked protests and demonstrations in the Kurdistan region cities against the economic policies of the regional government, and to convert most of the services sector to privatization, which reflected on the economic conditions of citizens. The Kurdistan Communist Party organized a protest in Sulaymaniyah due to poor services and high prices of energy and bread, with the participation of dozens of citizens
