Afghanistan – More than 10,000 Afghan families rush at Kabul airport to depart the country

Amid a state of complete chaos, more than ten thousand families gathered on the outskirts of the Afghan capital, Kabul’s airport, attempting to escape from their country, after the Taliban took control of more than 30 provinces in the country. Local sources stated that Taliban fighters shot civilians at the airport gate, killing and wounding many. According to airport authorities, commercial flights at Kabul airport were canceled, where thousands of Afghans had congregated.
