Jordan – King of Jordan to meet Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister in the caretaker government

On Sunday, Jordan’s King Abdullah II received, in the capital, Amman, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government of the Lebanese Republic, Zeina Aker. During the meeting, King Abdullah II stated his country’s full support for Lebanon, pointing out that Lebanon’s stability and prosperity are fundamental to the region’s prosperity and growth. The king also offered condolences to the Lebanese people for the victims of the explosion that took place in the town of Al-Talil in the Akkar region, which resulted in dozens of victims and injured, stressing Jordan’s readiness to provide any assistance needed to treat the injured.
